Michigan intimidation

So now we have men in camouflage who are carrying assault rifles trying to push their way into the debate over reopening the state. This is intimidation, and armed threats have no place in a republic. All we need are brown shirts and we'll have crossed a threshold that can lead to tragedy. Michigan officials, voters and our national government must call this what it is, and how dangerous it is. The irony is that by acting this way, the agitators have made it virtually impossible for the governor to be flexible, since that would make it look as though the intimidation worked. That is untenable politically. But the intimidation story is the crucial one in this case.
